Prerequisites:Passing Grade in World of FCS

This semester-long class is designed to give the student advanced techniques in food preparation, special diets, professional and gourmet cooking using equipment and garnishes as well as preparing of food and services for special occasions. It will help students understand the significance of food, principles of nutrition, and the relationship of nutrition to health and well-being
